One long wall: every bookcase in the house side by side, every shelf, every spine in its real position and at roughly its real size. Zoom in until you can read the titles.
drag or ←→ scroll along the wall (with inertia); ↑↓ pan when zoomed in
wheel, pinch, +− zoom; shift+wheel scrolls; 0 fits the whole wall; double-click a spine to zoom to it
K · H · N … jump to a bookcase; the strip at the bottom is a minimap, click or drag it
/ search a title or author (accent-insensitive; kana and kanji verbatim). The torch flies to the match; Enter or N steps through matches; Esc turns it off
hover a spine for the tooltip, click for the card and its link to the Bookshelf tab
X-ray repaints the spines by genre (the site's hues), language, era (decade bands), whether a free e-text exists, or every book by the selected author; L hides the titles for a pure colour view
save view exports what you see as a PNG; save wall renders the entire wall in slices to one tall stitched PNG
Renders in 256 px tiles cached per zoom level so scrolling stays smooth; titles are drawn only once a spine is wide enough to read. Everything is deterministic from the catalogue ids, so the wall is the same on every visit.
