This turns a Paper Theatre story into kamishibai, the Japanese paper-theatre form where a performer slides painted boards out of a frame while reading. The performer stands behind the stack, so each board's back carries the text for the picture in front of it.
Pick a story, open Route through the choices to pick an answer at each choice, and change Lines per board to make more or fewer boards. Click a board in the strip, or use the ← and → keys there, to see its front and its back.
Two-sided, flip on long edge prints each board on one sheet, picture on the front and text on the back; the backs are printed upside down so that, with your printer set to flip on the long edge, the text reads upright from behind the board. If your printer flips on the short edge, choose that layout instead. Without two-sided printing, One-sided, fold in half puts the picture and the text on one portrait page: fold along the dashed line, text side behind, and each folded page is a landscape board half the size of the sheet. Set the print dialog to landscape for the two-sided layouts and portrait for the fold, no margins or "default" margins, and 100% scale. Print the first two pages and check before printing the rest.
?story=obfuscation opens a story, ?layout=fold or ?paper=letter sets the print layout, ?thumb=1 shows the thumbnail.
