English word overrides
One per line: word = 3 (syllables) or word = 010 (stress per syllable, 1 stressed, 0 unstressed, 2 either).
How to read the marks
English: ˘ unstressed, / stressed, a thin bar between feet. Amber marks disagree with the best fitting meter. Dotted underline means the word was not in the dictionary and its syllables were guessed (or overridden, in teal). Letters at line ends are the rhyme scheme.
Japanese: the number is the mora count; hover a line to see the breakdown. ji-amari means too many, ji-tarazu too few. Lines with kanji need a reading: write it in the box that appears, or use 漢字《かんじ》 or 漢字(かんじ) in the text.
German: the number is a syllable estimate; the most common count is highlighted.
